2009 Estate Melange Blanc
The wine is a vineyard blend of classic French white varietals: 42% Sauvignon Blanc, 42% Pinot Gris, 8% Rousanne, and 8% Viognier. The grapes were grown organically and biodynamically following the agricultural principles of Rudolf Steiner and Goethe.
2009 Chardonnay
This no oak Chardonnay delights with aromas of pineapple and pear. Tart peaches, pears, touch of honey and a slight mineral finish.
2008 Red Mt. Melange
Wilridge reserves the term "Melange" for blends of wines from exceptional vintages. The last Red Mountain Melange was harvested in 2003 and featured a "Bordeaux-style" blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, and 9% Cabernet Franc from three Red Mountain vineyards. For the 2008 version, Paul again took his inspiration from Bordeaux and selected a blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc, all from Artz Vineyard on Red Mountain. The result is a balanced wine that should age gracefully for years.
Cuvee Forte
It is an elegant wine with nuances of apple, pear and light citrus = earning a 90pt score from Wine Enthusiast Magazine.
